My name is Gloria. I have a 6 year old boy who was diagnosed with autism at age 3. To say this time was a difficult period in my life is an understatement. There were so many challenges that I had to face within myself over the years before I was able to fully take my role as the mother of a child with autism. I have learned so much about myself along the way. I am a stronger person and it is all because of my son Xavier. I knew that being a mother would be rewarding but having Xavier has made me thankful for the "little things." Watching him learn and grow has been the most wonderful experience in my life.<br />I would like to focus now on beginning diet intervention and biomedical treatment for Xavier. I created this blog to tell my story, to get help for Xavier and to help and support other people.<br />My first goal is to make Xavier his first appointment with a DAN!
